We are holding regular PROTECT-CH ‘drop-in’ meetings led by Professor Adam Gordon (Co-Chief Investigator) and would be delighted for care home managers to join any of these sessions. The meetings will consist of a mixture of progress updates, information about the trial, discussions on any topical trial-related issues and educational content to support care homes with staff training and CPD. These informal sessions will also provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions concerning the trial and may be used to inform our ‘Frequently Asked Questions’ section on the trial website.

The meetings are being held online, fortnightly on Thursdays 12:00–1:00pm starting from Thursday 29 th April. They are entirely voluntary but will provide you with an opportunity to come together with other like-minded care homes who have expressed an interest in participating in the trial. If you would like to attend, please email: protect-trial@nottingham.ac.uk and we will send you a link to the meetings. Please feel free to attend the sessions whenever you can, as they will operate on a drop-in basis. If you would like to propose a topic for discussion in advance, please let us know via the email address above.
